Balaji Telefilm's New Show Maulkki Coming Soon on Colors TV

Maulkki is the new and upcoming television show which will soon air on a popular television channel Colors TV. Amar Upadhyay & Priyal Mahajan are roped in to play the lead roles in the show. The other cast of the show includes Supriya Raina Shukla & Abhay Bhargava. Amar will be seen playing the character of Virendra Pratap Singh and Priyal will be seen playing the character of Purvi in the show.

The story of the show is based on a young girl marrying an older man.

On the work front, Amar Upadhyay is known for tv shows like Mehndi Tere Naam Ki, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Kkusum, Saath Nibhaana Saathiya. He was last seen in Colors TV's Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran as Devraj Indra. Priyal Mahajan was last seen in Star Plus Kasautii Zindagii Kay as Tapur Basu. The show Maulkki will be produced by Ekta Kapoor under the Balaji Telefilms production banner. 

Talking about the show, Amar shared “The concept of Molkki is unique, powerful and something that has never been shown on television before. As Virender Pratap Singh, I am playing a larger-than-life character. He is a very strong and serious person whose life undergoes a drastic emotional change when Purvi becomes a part of it.”

The show will be replacing Colors’ Pavitra Bhagya.

More details related to other star cast and the release date of Mauliki are yet to be known.
