Mafia is a Zee5 Original psychological thriller series which is directed by debutant director Birsa Dasgupta. Mafia stars Namit Das, Tanmany Dhanania, Isha M Saha, Anindita Bose & Madhurima Roy in the lead roles in the series. The series is produced by Parambrata Chatterjee.
Mafia is a bilingual series, shot in both Hindi and Bengali versions. Mafia web series will be released on 10 July 2020 on the Zee5 OTT platform.
The season consists of 9 episodes, each episode having a running time of approx. 26-28 minutes. The title comes with a tagline " Game For Life".
Story/Plot
The story of the series is about the six friends who reunite after 5 years for one of their friend Tanya's bachelor party. The show is set in the backdrop of dark and mysterious jungles of Madhapur in the state of Jharkhand. During this, a horrible past comes to haunt them. What is their horrifying past and how they deal with the situation forms the rest of the story.
The official synopsis given by ZEE5 is, “Six college friends reunite after 5 years for a bachelorette party in the jungles of Madhupur, where their horrifying past comes back.”
