Gurmeet Chaudary is an Indian Hindi television actor who was born on 22nd February 1984 in Patna, Bihar, India. His father Sitaram Chaudhary is a retired subedar major of the Indian Army. He was born in Chandigarh and brought up in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. Gurmeet is a trained martial artist. He was married to Debina Bonnerjee his co-star of NDTV's Ramayan serial in the year 2011. Gurmeet has two nicknames, one is 'Shashi' which is named by his Nanaji and another name is 'Guru' where his wife Debina and friends call him. Gurmeet always wanted to become a Bollywood, Actor. The actor is currently busy with his upcoming movie Khamoshiyaan.
Career :
Gurmeet Chaudary made his debut as a Villain with a 3-D Tamil Show Mayavi in the year 2006 which was highly appreciated and also one of the most watched shows of Asia. He started his career as an actor in 2008 with the popular show Ramayan where he played Lord Ram / Lord Vishnu roles. He played the role of a businessman in Geet - Hui Sabse Parayi where he played the role Maan Singh Khurana which brought him more fame. Later he got an opportunity to work in Shashi Sumeet Productions Punar Vivah as Yash Suraj Pratap Sindhia.
Apart from this he also participated in a dance show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Season 5 and won the title along with choreographer Shampa Sonthalia. He stood as a first runner up in the dance show Nach Baliye 6. He was last seen in Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi (Season 5) where again as a 1st Runner up.
